New York State Assemblyman Chris Eachus visited Highland Falls Fire Department’s blood drive on Sunday, June 28, where he spent time with NYBC staff and donors.
The drive, co-sponsored by Assemblyman Eachus’s office, collected 25 units of blood.
Assemblyman Eachus has also supported other recent blood drives: in September 2025, he visited a blood drive at Solid Rock Church of God in New Windsor to honor late sickle cell warrior Lashawnda Johnson, and he also promoted a blood drive at New Windsor Ambulance in June 2026.

Ahead of the Highland Falls Fire Department drive, Assemblyman Eachus posted a video to social media urging his constituents and followers to give blood.
“There is such, such a shortage of blood at this time in New York State,” said Assemblyman Eachus. “Please, if you can, come and give blood.”
Special thanks to the NYBC team, who welcomed Assemblyman Eachus and his team at the drive, including Seth Morer, Account Manager; Mackenzie Budrow, Donor Specialist I-IV; Ellen Fair, Donor Relations Associate; and Mohammad Chhipa, Donor Specialist, I-IV.
