ETMWS 2022: Frequently Asked Questions

1. When will registration open for ETMWS 2022?
   Registration is open now! Lectures have already started, but you can still sign up so you don’t miss out on this ongoing program. Registration for both the “Essentials” track and the “Beyond Essentials” track can be accessed here.
2. What are the differences between the “Essentials” and “Beyond Essentials” tracks?
   ETMWS 2022 covers important topics in the fields of transfusion medicine and blood banking; however, in order to better target our specific audiences, we will provide two tracks of the ETMWS.

   The “Essentials” track is designed for individuals who are new to the field of transfusion medicine, particularly resident trainees, students of clinical laboratory science and medical technologists. The “Beyond Essentials” track, on the other hand, provides a deeper look at transfusion medicine topics for individuals who are already familiar with the fundamentals of transfusion medicine and blood banking.

3. Can I register for and attend both tracks?
   Yes, you are welcome to register for and attend webinars in both tracks. In addition, on-demand recordings of each webinar will be available on the NYBCe Education Resources web page for up to one month following the live webinar, so you can view recordings on your own time as well.
4. Who should sign up for the Essentials of Transfusion Webinar Series 2022?
   Our lectures and webinars are designed for resident trainees, medical technologists, fellows, attending physicians, students, nurses, educators, and anyone wishing to learn more about transfusion medicine and blood banking.
5. How much does ETMWS 2022 cost?
   The 2022 Essentials of Transfusion Webinar Series is free to attend. All you need to do is register for the event!  In addition, recordings of the ETMWS will be available for a limited time on the NYBCe Education Resources web page.

6. Can I receive P.A.C.E. credit for attending ETMWS 2022?
   Yes, you can earn P.A.C.E. credit for attending the Essentials of Transfusion Webinar Series 2022. Once the webinar series is over, you will need to complete a course evaluation. Once submitted, you’ll receive your P.A.C.E. certificate by email.
